Structure and modules of the "Creative Recycling Laboratory"
The workshop is structured into ten modules: each module lasts 3 hours in the 30-hour workshop version and 1.5 hours in the 15-hour workshop version. The course can also be customized based on the content requested by the Institute. Specifically:
The Riciclini: What they are and how the idea was born
Introduction to Riciclini: smart objects made from recycled materials and sensors.
Education on sustainability and the circular economy.
Creative workshop: group brainstorming to design your own Riciclino.
The 3Rs and plastic recycling
Learn more about the 3Rs: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
Focus on plastic types, recyclability, and safe reuse.

Kernel offers training programs for teachers, students and education professionals on circular economy, creative recycling and IoT technology applied to teaching and home automation. In the laboratories, you will learn innovative methods to transform waste materials into educational tools. Kernel collaborates with organizations, universities and institutes to promote sustainability and responsible technology through practical workshops, raising awareness of the environmental and technological importance in everyday life.
